This Gaines & Associates “California Fish and Game Commission Update” is intended to provide our clients with the status of items of concern currently in front of the California Fish and Game Commission – including what to expect at this week’s meeting in Smith River, and a recap of what took place on agenda items of concern at the Commission’s April 2017 meeting in Van Nuys.
With last Friday, June 2nd, serving as the 2017 deadline for bills to be passed out of their house of origin, the Capitol has been moving at a feverish pace. With the 2017 Session now at the unofficial half-way point, this Gaines & Associates “California State Legislature – 2017/2018 Session Update” will provide a summary and the status of all legislation of interest to California’s wildlife and conservation community.
