After months of non-stop activity at our Capitol, the State Legislature broke for Summer Recess yesterday. The Legislature will not reconvene at our State Capitol until Monday, August 6th – giving us a full month to prepare for what is sure to be an intense final four weeks of activity under the Dome. The 2018 State Legislative Session will come to a final close upon adjournment on Friday, August 31st, with September 30th being the last day for the Governor to sign or veto bills that have been placed on his desk.
